Mad Science
Bugs, Catapults and Rocket Racers! Ever WONDER what the world looks like through a bug's eye? How a detective solves a crime? Then don't miss this Mad Science Program! Join us as we build Rocket Racers, discover minerals that glow in the dark, predict weather, and explore the creepy crawly world of bugs. With different topics each week, this course is action-packed with hands-on experiments and amazing take-home projects.
Math Games
Looking for a great way to teach measurement? How about multiplication?
We have games for all elements of math: money games, geometry games, and much more. As your children play each fun math game, they will be learning new skills while enjoying every minute of it!
Computers Besides being fun to use, computers have become an integral part of modern life. Computer literacy is an increasingly useful element of a student’s educational background;. Among several topics, campers will have the opportunity to learn the basics of photo-editing, sound editing and web-page design. Topics such as word processing and Internet use are touched upon as well. Campers apply their skills towards creating t-shirts, posters, song recordings and much more.
Leadership
Our camp leadership program is important for the development of our older campers. The instructors work with our oldest campers to help prepare them for leadership, not only for camp roles but in everyday life. Training includes such areas as group dynamics, leadership styles, communication, and decision making.
Spanish
¡Hola! Campers will learn basic conversational Spanish that will enable them to communicate in a Spanish-speaking country. Campers will be able to order at a restaurant, give basic greetings, and shop in a store. Instruction is lively, interactive and includes insights into culture.
